------------------
Acceleration Runs:
------------------
Acceleration runs start automatically when the speed rises above the
start speed, and automatically stops when hitting the end speed. There
is also a manual run start and stop button. A range of start and stop
speeds are pre-programmed into GPS Perforamnce, but custom speeds can
also be entered.

--------------
Distance Runs:
--------------
Distance runs work much the same way as acceleration runs. Simply select
a preset distance, or enter your own. Timing automatically starts when
your car moves, and automatically stops once the distance has been reached.

----------
Lap Times:
----------
The first task is to define a lap. To do this, start driving around the
track. When you cross the start/finish line, hit the 'define lap' button
and the GPS positions will start to record and be drawn on the screen.
Once you cross the start/finish line again and you can see that the image
displayed is a loop, hit the stop define button. GPS Performance will now
attempt to match up the start/end points to create a closed loop. If this
step fails it is usually because 'stop define' was pressed too soon. Simply
try again and allow a greater overlap at the end of the lap.

Once a lap is successfully defined, you are presented with the Lap
Configuration screen. This screen allows you to name your circuit and to set
the position of the start/finish line, and any split time positions. To do
this, simply tap and hold the display at the point on the track you want to
set the point. On the popup menu select your desired action. Existing split
points can be removed using the same menu.

The map can be zoomed via the zoom buttons and moved around using the touch
screen. When satisfied, hit the OK button.

To time laps, simply select your circuit from the list of recorded tracks.
Timing will automatically begin and end each time you cross the start/finish
line.

--------
Records:
--------
The Records screen allows you to compare various runs. Simply use the drop down
list to select your record type and a list of all times will be presented. There
is a tap andhold menu available to delete erronous runs, or runs that you don't
want to keep. Highlight one or more runs and use the 'Plot' button to graphically
see the run. Speed, distance and acceleration can all be plotted and overlaid for
various runs.

Up to 10 runs per acceleration and distance run are stored, and 100 lap times per
track are stored.

-------------
Registration:
-------------
The unregistered trial version of GPS Perforance is fully functional except for the
following:

1. Settings, runs and lap times are not saved.
2. Displayed times are rounded up to the nearest half second.

Follow the on screen instructions to register your product.
