Do you know where your Opel is from?
Not all opel/vauxall’s are made in germany, even that official manufacture land is west-germany. You can find out what factory have made your car and also find out what country it came from.
All this information you find in your manufacture number plate(VIN-plate). Here is instruction how to read it.
Example manufacture number ( VIN-Code):
WOL 0000 51 S 2 506989
W: Country code (West Germany eli Saksa)
OL: manufacture code (Adam Opel AG)
0000: fill mark’s (no use)
51: model code (51: Opel Astra Caravan)
S: Model year (starts letter C, in year 1982 ja I / was not in use)
2: Factory code (2=Bochum, Saksa)
506989: running serial number
